The Brunei Malay Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DPPMB) has received a courtesy visit from the Selangor Branch of the PRD on Friday October 7 2017.

PERDASAMA, abbreviated to Malaysian Malay Traders and Entrepreneurs Association, was formally established under the Societies Act 1966 on December 9 1998. PERDASAMA has a membership base of 15,000 bumiputera (local) companies with an active membership of 4,800 in 13 branches throughout Malaysia and is an association focused on the rights and interests of indigenous peoples and Bumiputera entrepreneurs.

The 12-member PERDASAMA Selangor delegation was headed by Mohd Azamanizam bin Baharon, the President of PERDASAMA Selangor.

The purpose of the courtesy visit was to strengthen the relationship between PERDASAMA and DPPMB, and establish a bridge between Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia for business and enterprise cooperation between the business communities of both countries.

Discussions between the two parties concluded with an agreement to cooperate in trade and investment. The signing of a commemorative plaque was held at the DPPMB Meeting Room at the DPPMB headquarters located at the Beribi's Perinudstrian Site, Gadong.

Signing the plaque was Dr Hj. Kamaruddin bin Dato Paduka Hj. Talib, President of DPPMB and Mohd Azamanizam bin Baharon.
